Scuba Refresher

A Bit Rusty? Don’t Worry, Scuba Addicts will Get You Diving Again

If you are a Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver and have been out the water for up to 12 months and feel you will be a little bit rusty with kit setup, basic skills  and dive planning, then you will need to complete a check dive as the first dive of your 2 dive day. On the way out to the dive sites ,you will be asked to complete a PADI quick quiz which will highlight any weaknesses in your dive knowledge. Incorrect answers will be explained and expanded upon, to be sure you are clear on the basic points of diving. Prior to the dive, you will be given a demonstration on kit setup and shown how to plan out your dive with a Recreational Dive Planner (RDP). After kitting up and going through a briefing and buddy checks you will enter shallow water in order to complete 3 basic exercises, in which you will need to show proficiency.
 

Skills

• 1.Mask Clearing (Not Removal)
   
• 2.Regulator Removal and Replacement
   
• 3.Alternate Air Source use.
   
• Use this first check dive with your instructor to practice your fining and to get comfortable with your equipment, buoyancy control and breathing. Diving is like riding a bike, give it 10 minutes and you'll feel like you never had a break from diving.

Scuba Refresher Prerequisites

Must be at least a certified PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent.

What’s Included?
