Fun Diving with Scuba Addicts

Diving Daytrips from Ao Nang, Krabi

As the page title suggests, the objective of our daily scuba diving trips is to have some fun. Join us aboard our old-style, spacious, Teak diving dayboat,' The Laddvaddee', for a relaxing but exhilirating day out. For a list and description of the sites that we visit, please look at the 'Krabi Dive Sites' page.

The Laddavadee isn't the biggest and fastest boat on the seas as other operators might claim, but it is the most friendly and least crowded, with a huge forward sundeck, ample kitting up space and an entertainment system playing diving DVD's or some classic hits. On Sunday's we also have a sunset cruise around the local islands with two afternoon dives, an all you can eat barbeque and ice-cold beer.

Scuba Diving Phi Phi

A typical days scuba diving to the Phi-Phi islands begins at 8am and finishes at around 5pm. It takes around 2.5 hours to cruise to Phi-Phi, which is when most people catch up on their sleep. We try to avoid the crowded dive sites at peak times and also have a strict policy on only having four qualified divers with one guide, so you'll get to see more than just your buddy's fins.

Scuba Diving Ao Nang

Diving on the local sites is how scuba diving is meant to be, the water is generally warm, clear and realtively shallow and sheltered. If there are any currents, we tend to use them and complete one way drift dives. Our guides are some of the most experienced in Ao Nang with a detailed knowledge of the marine life and the local sites, if there is anything you want to know or see, then they are the people to speak to.

As an alternative to big boat diving, why not visit the local islands on a traditional 'Longtail' boat. It's a bit more noisy and less comfortable, but you'll truly be scuba diving sites with no other divers and it's a great experience. Local diving off of a longtail affords you much more flexibility, you can depart later in the morning, complete two easy dives, have lunch on a beach and still be back in Ao Nang for 3pm. Scuba diving on the local islands is a fun and relaxing day out and an authentic, intimate diving experience.
