PADI Open Water Referal

Theory at Home BUT Diving In the Warm, Clear Waters of Ao Nang, Krabi

In order to get the most out of your holiday time, you may choose to complete the Knowledge development and Confined Water sections of the Open Water Course in your home country. This leaves only the four Open Water dives to complete, which is a lot nicer to do in the warm, clear waters of the Andaman sea, than in your local quarry or reservoir.

You will need to bring a signed copy of your Student record file including a signed medical questionnaire, which will provide proof of the training that you have completed to date. In addition, when you purchase a PADI Open Water manual it will include a PADI PIC (certification) card which you should also bring with you, as this needs to be filled out and forwarded to PADI on completion of your training. Some unscrupulous dive centres will not give you this PIC card which means you will need to buy it again when you get to Thailand.

Prerequisites

Minimum age 10. General health and fitness, ability to swim 200 metres and tread water for 10 minutes. Signed Student Record File and Medical Questionnaire detailing training completed to date.

What’s Included?

Certification fee, Instructor time, all diving equipment, lunch, snacks and soft drinks onboard our boat, marine park fees and transfers to and from your hotel.  If you do not bring the PADI PIC card with you, you will need to pay an additional 2000 Baht for certification fees.

9000 baht, 206 Euros, 139 British Pounds

Moving On

A further two days of diving and you could be an Advanced Open Water Diver which will allow you to dive down to a depth of 30 metres and gain experience in a range of skills and specialties that interest you.  Alternatively, why not join us for some fun diving to a variety of local divesites or maybe join one of our liveaboard trips to the Similan Islands- voted one of the top 10 places to dive in the world.
