PADI Open Water Referal

Theory at Home BUT Diving In the Warm, Clear Waters of Ao Nang, Krabi

In order to get the most out of your holiday time, you may choose to complete the Knowledge development and Confined Water sections of the Open Water Course in your home country. This leaves only the four Open Water dives to complete, which is a lot nicer to do in the warm, clear waters of the Andaman sea, than in your local quarry or reservoir.

You will need to bring a signed, standard Referral form including a signed medical questionnaire, which will provide proof of the training that you have completed to date. In addition, when you purchase a PADI Open Water manual it will normally include a PADI PIC (certification) card, which you should try to bring with you, as this needs to be filled out and forwarded to PADI on completion of your training. Some dive centres completet online certifications and will not give you this PIC card, however just make sure that the price you paid for the book in your home country does not include the price of the PIC card, as you will need to purchase this in Ao Nang.
