Ao Nang, Krabi -The Local Islands
Scuba Diving Ao Nang, KrabiThe local islands, just 30-45 minutes away from Ao Nang by dayboat or longtail boat, are often overlooked in favour of the much more widely publicised Phi Phi islands. However, on their day Ao Nang's local islands offer some superb scuba diving and snorkelling with breathtaking underwater scenery and a myriad of marine life, both large and small. Visibility is generally 5-20 metres, the water is warm and shallow and there is a large selection of dive sites to cater for snorkellers and all levels of scuba divers. Due to the close proximity of the islands to Ao Nang, your day is relaxed and unhurried, dives usually last at least an hour and in between we usually have lunch on a beach (Longtail diving only) and enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful surroundings. |
