MASTER SCUBA DIVER

Master Scuba Diver is the highest, non-professional rating within PADI. This qualification is recognized as one that denotes an experienced and accomplished scuba diver. To achieve this rating requires dedication and skill, a diver must have completed 5 PADI Specialties, the PADI Rescue Diver qualification and the EFR certification. The Master Scuba Diver rating represents a niche group of distiguished and knowledgable divers.

 

Prerequisites

PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organisation). PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organisation). PADI Rescue Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organisation). 50 logged dives. Five PADI Specialty course certifications. Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for Junior Master Scuba Diver)

Moving On

The PADI Master Scuba Diver certification is the highest recreational level in the PADI system of diver education. But, you don't have to stop there! You can continue on to become a PADI Professional. As a Master Scuba Diver you'll be well qualified to begin your training as a PADI Divemaster. Alternatively, you can continue to take even more specialties or join us for some relaxed fun diving.
