Similan Liveaboards - MV Dolphin Queen

The main deck has 8 guest cabins that are air conditioned and have a sea view window that opens. There are 2 more cabins with double beds on the upper deck which when you open the cabin door gives you the view of the ocean or islands. All cabins have 220v plugs, so you can charge your battery packs or your lights.

At the stern of the main deck is the dive platform and the gearing up area. We use 40 Luxfer 12 ltr Aluminium tanks with INT (Yoke) connections, but we also have some DIN adapters. There are also 2 Bauer Mariner II compressors with an air cooling system with P41 air filters, to give you the best quality air. Close at hand are Similan Diving Safaris 3 boat crew, who are there to help you gear up and help you on your dive entry and exit. The crew fills the tanks so all you do is dive. Most of the time you will be picked up by our boat or our dingy.

There are 3 spacious toilets with showers and 2 showers on the dive deck.

The upper deck is where you can find the wheel house (captains quarters) at the bow.
At the stern is the eating area. Here you can help yourself with coffee, tea, toast, water, electrolyte drinks, fruits which are always on the table for your convenience.

The dining area consists of 1 large table in the centre, and 2 additional tables on the side, ample room for dining. The sides of the boat are open so you can enjoy the good weather to the maximum. We have a large collection of fish identification books in several languages and your dive guide will enjoy explaining about the fish you have seen on your dives. The dining area is a great place to relax, socialise or read a book.
Breakfast is European style consisting of Brown bread, omelettes, fried eggs, sausages, Corn Flakes, muesli, fruits and fresh ground coffee or Nescafe. Lunch and Dinner is traditional Thai food. We cater for Vegetarians, just let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

MV Dolphin Queen also has a TV and DVD player, so any videos made on the trip can be reviewed. Alternatively, just relax and watch a movie. There is also a stereo system on board  where you can plug in your IPod and party.

The sun deck. Lots of room here for getting your tan, we also have a couple of hammocks & sundeck chairs under our new shade on the back of the sun deck, This is a nice place for spotting Dolphins, Manta rays and Whalesharks, while travelling to new dive sites.

What is included

Diving Equipment, Torch for night dives. Professional dive guide. All meals, snacks, fruits, water, electrolyte drinks, tea/coffee,. Own equipment will get you a total 1000 Baht discount. Snorkelers and non-divers receive a 25% discount.

NOT Included

National Marine Park Fees of 1600 Baht. These are payable locally.
